FIRST DEATH ANNIVERSARY: COMRADE M. KRISHNAN

On his first Death Anniversary, we pay homage to our respected leader, our guide Com M Krishnan, ex SG NFPE & Confederation.

It is still unbelievable that Com Krishnan is no more with us. His commitment to ideology, his devotion to organisational duty, affection to employees and hard labour in building up organisations amongst middle class employees will be remembered forever.

Even in acute Corona period he worked hard and selflessly for mass movement and got infected. In a middle-class organisation like ours, it is really difficult to fill up the vacuum created by his untimely departure.

That’s why we have to develop collective functioning and strengthen the centre and common platform of all organisations like Confederation (and it’s all affiliates) where he spent final years of his life. In every speech he delivered, he used to call upon us to build a class oriented militant organization.

To fulfil his dream, we should move further aiming at this objective with full conviction. We cannot but salute his endeavour in strike campaigns also to make all the Strikes grand success, in his time.

So, when we are on the way to observe country wide General Strike on 28-29 March, we have great scope to extend our profound reverence and highest honour to Com M Krishnan by undertaking continuous, intense and effective campaigning and finally make the Strike an unprecedented success.

RED SALUTE TO COM M KRISHNAN

COM KRISHNAN AMAR RAHE.

RETIREMENT OF COM. P. V. RAJENDRAN, PRESIDENT NFPE

Com. PV Rajendran, All India President of the National Federation of Postal Employees (NFPE) and General Secretary of the Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers, Kerala state COC, is going to retire on February 28, 2022.  He is also working as Confederation All India Deputy General Secretary, NFPE State Vice Chairman, and Circle President of the R-3 Union.

He has also served for a long time as the Circle Convener of the NFPE KERALA State Coordinating Committee, Circle Secretary and All India President of  All India RMS and MMS Employees Union, Group C. He has played a leading role in the many struggles for rights of C. G. Employees and Postal-RMS employees at the All India and State level. He joined the service in 1983 at Vadakara RMS. Presently he serves as Sub-Record Officer in Kasargod RMS. He is holding the post of the President of Kasaragod District Postal Employees Co-operative society and staff side secretary of RJCM. He started his union activities as the Branch Secretary of R-3 union and after division/circle union office bearer and AGS of R-3 CHQ for many years.

He is a very simple, soft-hearted man. At the same time, he is having very good, strict personality and is dedicated to organisations. His ideological commitment is an inspiration to us. Always he tried his best to strengthen the organisations. Salute to him for his excellent role in organisations.

We wish him a happy, peaceful retired life. But retirement from service doesn’t mean retirement from organisations, that he knows very well. So we know after his retirement he will devote more for all kinds of our organisations.

With best wishes and red salute to Com P V Rajendran, our beloved leader on his day of retirement from service on superannuation.

NFPE (CHQ),/ Confederation HQ New Delhi.
