STATE CONVENTION OF C-O-C KERALA

Kerala State convention of Confederation of CGE & Workers was held at KPS Menon Hall Kottayam on 9th September 2013. The convention was inaugurated by Com. Vaikom Viswan State Convenor of Left Democratic Front and State Committee Member of CITU. Com. M. Krishnan, Secretary General Confederation in his key note address elaborated the National Secretariat decision, importance of indefinite strike and details of charter of demands etc. Com. V. Sreekumar State President COC presided over the function.Com. C. P. Shobhana Org Secretary, Confederation, Com. Balakrishnan, AIDEF. Com. Kamalasanan Audit and Accounts, Com, U. Bhasi ITEF, Com. M. S. Sabu AIPEU GDS NFPE spoke on the occasion. Com. P. V. Rajendran General Secretary COC Kerala delivered welcome speech and Com. A. B. Lalkumar District Secretary made vote of thanks.  360 delegates including 40 lady comrades from 24 affiliated organisations of Confederation, representing the entire 14 district Commitees of Kerala attended the meeting. The meeting unanimously resolved to implement all programmes decided by the National Secretariat in a grand manner. The meeting also reviewed that 5 days dharna was conducted in all districts in a welfitted manner. Preperations are going on all over the State for conducting the strike ballot on September 25, 26 and 27.
