Dear Comrade,

 

            We have placed on the website the circular No. D-11/23 dated 15^th Jan. 2009 to inform you that the proposed strike action which was to commence on 20^th Jan. 2009 has been deferred. We have also communicated the said decision to the Cabinet Secretary.  Our letter to the Cabinet Secretary has also been placed on the website.  You are requested to intimate the concerned Heads of Departments in the following format.

 

"As per the decision of the Confederation of CGEs and Workers to which (Name of the Organistion)organization is affiliated  to defer the proposed indefinite strike commencing from 20^th January, 2009.  We are to inform you that the members of our Federation shall abide by the decision. We enclose herewith a copy of the confederation letter addressed to the Cabinet Secretary.  However, we take this opportunity to request you to kindly take steps to bring about a settlement of the issues in Section II of the Charter of Demands which are Department-specific".
