Dear Comrade,
We reproduce hereunder the press release appearing at the PIB website informing the decision taken by the Government in respect of raising the calculation ceiling limit for grant of bonus. As this has created a certain amount of confusion as to its applicability to other sections of the Central Government employees i.e. those covered by the PLB Scheme (other than railways) as also adhoc scheme, our President com. S.K. Vyas had contacted the Secretary, Expenditure. Though the exact position will be known on receipt of the minutes of the Cabinet meeting, the Expenditure Secretary has opined that it would be covered for all sections of the Central Government employees. We are constrained to place this on the website due to the constant and continuous queries we receive from our members.
With greetings,
Yours fraternally,
K.K.N.Kutty
Secretary General.
