COC TAMILNADU- DHARNA ON 19/12/2013

At the call of confederation of Central Government employees and workers ,New Delhi, demanding acceptance of terms of reference submitted by the National Council JCM staff side of 7th pay commission.A day long DHARNA has been conducted by the confederation of C.G employees and workers,Tamil Nadu unit on 19.12.2013 at Rajaji Bhavan,Besant Nagar,Chennai.

About 500 employees took active part in the DHARNA programme from postal department,P3,P4,postal accounts,AG(Audit and Accounts),Income Tax department,Central Excise,All India Radio,ICMR,various departments from shastri bhavan,other affiliated associations viz CGHS,GSI,Census,IBM,Civil accounts,Agmark,Central Ground Water Board(Region and Division),other organisations housed in Rajaji Bhavan.

The DHARNA programme was presided by Com.Gobu Govindarajan,Circle Secretary and All India Organizing Secretary(P4),Com.M.Duraipandian,General Secretary,Confederation of C.G employees and workers,Tamil Nadu unit inaugurated the programme and addressed the gathering on 15 point charter of demands.The leaders of all the affiliated associations and pentioners federation of Tamil Nadu unit also addressed the gathering .The programme  was organized by Rajaji Bhavan Central Government employees coordination committee.In the presence of Com.P.Gembeeram,President of RBCGECOC, Com.A.Balasundaram,Secretary  welcomed all the leaders and members of the affiliated associations who has participated in the DHARNA programme and narrated the purpose of the agitational programme.Com.D.Balu,General Secretary of All India Pentioners Federation concluded the programme.The programme was ended by vote of thanks offered by Com.J.Krishnamoorthy,Agmark Rajaji Bhavan.
