Sub- Introduction
of Emergency Insurance Scheme for the Staff of PSP (Printing, Stationery &
Publication) Department.
Sir,
It has been brought to our notice that
the staff of PSP Department is working under very risky conditions amidst
pandemic situation owing to Covid-19 without any support of Public Transport System
but with their own personal arrangements. But it is a matter of great concern
that the officials of PSP Department working in such circumstances have not
been provided any Insurance coverage under some personal Group Insurance Facility
worth Rs.25 Lakhs like the staff ISP/ENP Nasik.
It is therefore requested to kindly cause suitable
instructions to concerned authorities to provide transport facilities or
reasonable reimbursement of expenditure incurred on transportation for
attending duty by taxi etc.
Secondly as they are getting risk of being affected with
Covid-19, the staff of PSP should be provided Insurance Cover of Rs.25 lakhs
only.
