Dr. Anbumani Ramdoss,
Hon'ble Minister for Health and family welfare,
Govt. of India
Nirman Bhawan
New Delhi.
Dear Sir,
Sub: Proposed indefinite Strike action
by the employees of the CGHS
We have been informed by the All India CGHS Employees Association, an affiliate of the Confederation that they are constrained to go in for an indefinite Strike action due to the non settlement of their demands and non-redressal of their grievances. The strike is to commence from 11.03.2008. We request you to kindly intervene in the matter and ensure that negations are held to avert the strike action, as the strike will paralyze the functioning of the CGHS dispensaries making health care unavailable for the thousands of the central Govt. employees and Pensioners.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully
KKN.Kutty
Secretary General
